St. Patrick's Day Accessories and Clothing Ideas

You don’t need to be Irish to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day!

What color do you wear on St. Patrick’s Day?

Green is the go-to color for St. Patrick’s Day (March 17th).

There are two reasons for this.

The first is because Ireland is known as the Emerald Isle. It’s filled with rolling fields of greens which reminds people of their home country.

Secondly, it’s said that leprechauns can’t see green. So if you wear green, you’re invisible to them and they can’t pinch you.

Either way, green is the color du jour!

You can wear a little bit of green or deck yourself from head to toe in the brightest shades you can find. Kelly Green is the most traditional shade for St. Paddy’s Day but any shade of green will work.

In addition, you can also wear clothes or accessories adorned with four-leafed clovers or shamrocks.

For inspiration, I’ve rounded up lots of St. Patrick’s Day accessories and clothing items for you to wear. You’ll find festive sweaters, tops, and dresses as well as jewelry and even a hat. Don’t forget footwear, too! There are some cute socks and shoes in the best shades of green.

I love adding a bit of green to my wardrobe every March. Not only because of St. Patrick’s Day but also because March is the beginning of spring.

You can wear these green clothes and accessories all month (and season) long.
